10 Days Uganda Kenya Wildlife Safari

This tour combines a unique Gorilla and Wildlife experience of visiting Uganda and Kenya just in 10 days. You will be totally moved in Uganda as you check out the most thrilling Gorilla adventure inside the jungle.

 

Then drive to Kenya for the world famous Masai Mara National Reserve for the annual migration of huge herds of Gnus and zebras. Predators such as Hyenas, Jackals, Leopards and Lions of course, closely follow these herds.

Day 1: Arrival with overnight in Entebbe / Kampala.
Meet and greet our staff members at the airport transfer to hotel for dinner and overnight, estimated transfer 40minutes to 1hour.

Day 2: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
You will be picked up from your Hotel in Kampala for your 2 days Lake Mburo safari and our tour guide will transfer you to western Uganda in Lake Mburo National Park. En route to the Park, you will have a stopover at Mpambire drum village and at the Equator at Kayabwe where water experiments will be done to prove to you that you are in both atmospheres (Southern and Northern Hemisphere).
You will have a lunch stopover in Masaka town and then later drive towards the Park. Upon entering the park through Nshara Gate, a game drive enroute will be a rewarding activity which will enable you to encounter many of the Parks’ flora and fauna with most wildlife grazing side by side with the Ankole domestic Cattle.
You will then go for a 2 hours’ boat ride on Lake Mburo in the evening which will get you quite close to Crocodiles and Hippos. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 3: Game Drive – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Early breakfast and off for a game drive across the savannah and by the lakes there. keep the camera ready, we shall be driving slowly so you can see lots of animals, also you can stand up in the vehicle to take the best pictures possible.
After the game drive we check out and drive Bwindi Home of the mountain Gorillas. On route in Mbarara with a visit to Igongo Cultural village this is more rewarding and amazing as you visit the Ankole museum. Lunch break and later continue to Bwindi.

Day 4: Gorilla Tracking at Bwindi Impenetrable
Wake up early and take your breakfast, then with your packed lunch and drinking water plus your tracking gear report to the ranger station ready for the exiting encounter to these gentle giant the mountain Gorillas! (Must Be Booked in Advance) You will spend one hour with one of our closest relatives. An experience you will never forget.

Day 5: Bwindi forest – Kampala
After your morning breakfast, drive back to Kampala using Kasese-Fort Portal road via Queen Elizabeth National Park for enroute game viewing if you’re lucky you may spot the Elephants, Antelopes and the Warthogs. A stop over at the Equator line in Kasese. Enjoy the winding scenery of the foot hills of Mt.Rwenzori arriving in Fort Portal for lunch thereafter continue to Kampala.

Day 6: Kampala – to Kenya Lake Nakuru
Today early morning is dedicated at your convenience driving through major towns of Uganda in to Kenya via Jinja. Arriving at the border post on time for immigration, proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park situated in the Rift Valley Region. From the North to the South of Kenya the valley is lined with a series of freshwater and soda based volcanic lakes. Arrive, check-in at your lodge and spend the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight stay

Day 7: Lake Nakuru National Park

Lake Nakuru the worlds famous haunt for pink flamingoes is a shallow alkaline lake in Kenya’s Rift Valley and some 62 km2 in size. The landscape is picturesque, area of marsh and grassland alternating with rocky cliffs and outcrop also home to both the White and Black Rhinos. Lions, leopards, hippos, giraffes, waterbucks are equally at home in this unique park.


 

Day 8: Transfer to Masai Mara
After an early breakfast you will head to the world famous Masai Mara game reserve on the border with Tanzania. An excellent year round animal concentration and known for its typical short savanna plains. Home to the great migration in the months July – October when two million Wildebeest make their way northwards from the Serengeti in Tanzania. The accent here is on the Masai people and the wealth of wildlife, Bird life, and natural flora to be found in the fabled Masai Mara Game Reserve.
Enjoy an afternoon 16:00hrs game drive around the world famous Masai Mara. Dinner and overnight stay at the Tipilikwani Mara Camp (High end) or Sarova Mara Game Camp (Mid Range) or Mara Leisure Camp (Budget end) Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner

Day 9: Full day game drives in Masai Mara
Today you will have a full day of game drives ahead. Before sunrise you will try to spot different predators that might made a kill last night. You will return for breakfast at the camp while the sun rises over the game reserve.
You can decide to take a packed lunch for a full day game drives or come back at the camp for a hot lunch. The secret on sighting a lot of animals is to do different game drives on different time and areas for the highest success rate.
After this exciting day you will come back to the camp where you can relax with a cold drink.

Day 10: Masai Mara – Nairobi City
Have breakfast at the camp and depart for Nairobi, Kenya’s most colorful city from here you will proceed to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
